Happy New Year Everyone!!
Here are my top 5 new years resolutions for 2010:
- Be a good father and husband.
- Motivate and Inspire as many people as possible to get the best out of themselves in running and in life.
- Work on my own fitness
… I have the best job in the world in that it is my job to achieve and maintain fitness. I would highly encourage everyone to make their health and fitness a part of their new year resolution. For me, I need to be as fit as possible so that I can have a chance to win the Boston Marathon on April 19th, and then hopefully also defend my ING New York City Marathon Championship. For me, the key to those two goals will be to get to the starting line healthy and strong. - Have a lunch, a run or a meeting with the following people: Coach John Wooden, President Barack Obama, Phil Knight, Oprah, Coach Tony Dungy and other great motivators for life.
- Spend more time w/ families and friends.
All in all, I tell myself:
Just Do it MEB… Maintain Excellent Balance.

I would absolutely LOVE to meet Phil Knight! I hope you et to fulfill that resolution and I hope you share it with us on your website! And I couldn’t agree with you more about the importance of health and fitness!
